Who we fund

Business loans for suppliers and distributors in the Philippines

Datung funds the established suppliers and distributors one level up the chain: the tricycle dealer, the wholesaler, the parts supplier, the LPG distributor. You sell on terms to hundreds of small businesses, so your cash is tied up in receivables and stock.

We're built for established businesses (typically ₱6M+ in annual sales), with financing from ₱30,000 to ₱10,000,000.

  • 6 kinds of financing, one application
  • Just 3 things to apply

Who we fund

See the unseen.

Behind every sari-sari store, carinderia and talyer is a supplier who gave them terms. When you sell on terms to hundreds of small businesses, your cash is tied up in receivables and stock.

Datung funds that gap with PO financing, invoice factoring, rediscounting of your customers' post-dated checks, and credit lines. So you can supply more of them, and the whole chain grows.

We fund the businesses that carry the small ones.

Working capital for the suppliers who carry small businesses

Every supplier's cash gets stuck in a different place. Here is where it usually is, and the financing that can free it up.

  • Tricycle & motorcycle dealers and importers

Units have to be bought or imported before they are sold, often to buyers who pay in instalments or with post-dated checks. Financing keeps units on your floor while your receivables come in.

  • Kitchenware distributors

Carinderias and food businesses buy pots, pans and equipment on payment terms. Turn the invoices they haven't paid yet into cash, or fund a large order from a new customer.

  • Oil, tire & parts suppliers

Vulcanizing shops and talyers need fast-moving stock every week. A revolving credit line helps you restock on schedule, and check rediscounting helps when shops pay you with PDCs.

  • Rice, sugar & canned-goods wholesalers

Sari-sari stores buy on credit and pay later. Financing for the stock you carry, and for the receivables you're waiting on, keeps their shelves and yours full.

  • LPG & water refilling distributors

Tanks, refills and delivery runs every day. Working capital for stock, cylinders and delivery vehicles, repaid over 3 to 12 months.

  • Feeds & agri-input suppliers

Feeds, seeds and fertilizer are bought ahead of the season and often sold on terms until harvest. Fund the stock up front, and the gap until your customers pay.

  • Construction materials suppliers

Small contractors buy cement, steel and lumber on terms, often against a project or a post-dated check. Fund the big orders and turn their PDCs into cash.

  • Packaging suppliers

Cups, boxes and bags for food sellers move fast and in volume. A credit line helps you buy in bulk and restock on time.

  • Importers & exporters

Shipments have to be paid for long before your buyers pay you. PO financing helps with confirmed orders, and collateral-based financing can support a bigger line when you're ready.

FAQ

Questions about who we fund

Eligibility, amounts and the kinds of financing.

Who can apply?

Owners of established businesses in any industry, especially suppliers and distributors who sell to small businesses on terms. You must be 18 or older, and your loan must be fully repaid before you turn 65, so the term you choose (3 to 12 months) has to end before then. Loans range from ₱30,000 to ₱10,000,000. See who we fund for the kinds of businesses we're built for.

How much can I borrow, and for how long?

Financing ranges from ₱30,000 to ₱10,000,000, with terms of 3 to 12 months. We're built for established businesses (typically ₱6M+ in annual sales). How much we can offer depends on our review of your business, including your bank statements and what the money is for.

What kinds of financing do you offer?

6 kinds: purchase order (PO) financing, invoice factoring, check rediscounting, revolving credit lines, collateral-based financing and business loans. You apply for all of them with the same single application and the same 3 things. You don't need to get the product exactly right: pick the closest one in "What kind of financing do you need?" on the form, tell us what the money is for, and we'll match you to the best fit. For some types, we may ask to see the checks, purchase order, invoices or collateral papers during review. Compare them on our financing options page.

What documents do I need?

Just 3 things: the application form, typed online in about 10 minutes with nothing to print (we generate the Loan Application Form from your answers), 1 valid government ID, and your latest 3 months of bank statements. Everything else, such as a business permit, proof of billing, financial statements or an ITR, is optional. Add it now if you have it, or later if we ask. See the full business loan requirements.
